United and Continental Airlines Merger:
United and Continental are taking an important step towards merging to a single airline. On Friday March 2, 2012 they will begin the migration process to one passenger reservation system, United Airlines. During this time the UA and CO will be closing down their websites for the duration of the migration to one system. They anticipate the website interruption will last a few hours. Once completed there will no longer be a Continental website and all Continental customers will be able to access their reservations on the United site www.united.com using the Continental record locator. ALL Continental flights will be converted to United and these passengers notified by Travel Impressions when this process is complete.

In anticipation of this event Travel Impressions will temporarily remove United Airlines from our online reservation systems. Beginning Friday March 3rd at 10:00 PM EST we will deactivate the booking option for United (UA) and reactivate it On Monday March 5th at 9:00 AM EST. We encourage our travel agent partners to advise their customers traveling within the dates of March 3-5 to expect possible airport delays as United will be handling the check in process for each flight manually. It is highly suggested your customers check in online 24 hours prior to their schedule flight departure, before March 3rd, to help alleviate some of these delays.

Los Cabos Closed Out from 6.15.12 - 6.22.12
Due to the G-20 World Leader Summit that will be held in Los Cabos June 15-22, 2012, we will not be taking any new reservations at this time. We have closed the destination to new reservations as the event will mean that there will be extra security in Los Cabos, possible road closures due to dignitary motorcades and extra security at the airport.

Severe Weather Activity:
Travel Impressions continues to monitor all current winter weather activity. For any travel locations affected by severe weather, we work with our hoteliers to accommodate any delayed departures or arrivals. Please check your Airline carrier's website for up to date flight status and travel waiver policies.
